'Most probably everything about Project Management'

With my previous business partner we sat there frustrated because it was very difficult to find a polish web site with any good information or articles on Project Management. There was one Polish portal which for some information you had to pay. That was when we deciced to build our own portal. A portal that would be a free knowledge database on this subject.

SkutecznyProjekt.pl is a Polish Web Community Portal that helps Project Managers in their every day Project Management problems.

The portals aim is to:

• Create one collective knowledge database
• Provide FREE knowledge by future and present Project Managers
• Create a Project Management Community

• Human Resources
• Programers and Analysts

• IT and Management Students

What did we want to achieve?

• Information about softwares that help project management
• A place where you can exchange project experience
• Pointing out places where you can gather information on a particular problem
• Consulting on choosing the right methodology or application for a specific project realization

The portal gives a chance for Users to:

• Share knowledge on forums

• Sign up for conferences - through webcasts as well

• Autopresentation through "webcast"

Today (I-quarter of 2009) the portal has over 10 000 unique entries a month. In less than a years time we were able to become one of the biggest Project Management Community knowledge database in Poland. With partners starting from training, seminars, software experts and methodology mentors we built a unique portal that attracts people from all over Poland and even from different parts of the world - people with different levels of knowledge from Presidents, Directors and PM's to Students.

Thanks to SkutecznyProjekt.pl we were able to introduce to Poland softwares such as cc-Pulse, cc-MPulse, DecisionEdge and localize tools like MindMapper, Visual-Paradigm, SphericalAngle... A good relationship and trust helped us to provide excellent support and knowledge for these products.

We started off with a couple of articles from professors and experts worldwide who we promoted on our portal. Today our registered users are writing their own articles. Why? Our Portal does not take credit for the written articles. Everone that writes an article promotes it under his/her name, thanks to this anyone can promote him/herself as an expert. Ofcourse we verify an article before it's published, for the quality sake of it.

Hopefully one day with the help of our registered users, partners, maybe an investor - who knows... we might be able to have an english version of this portal.
